Welcome to Cranstar Labradors. Home of superior quality Labrador Retrievers.
CranStar Labradors is a privately owned kennel located in central Georgia about 60 miles from Atlanta, Columbus, and Macon on 15 acres of secluded property. It is the culmination of a lifelong passion to raise the ultimate ‘family dog’, Labrador Retrievers, and place them in homes where they will be valued and loved.
CranStar Labradors is committed to beautiful English Labrador Retrievers who exhibit the AKC standard in conformation, health, temperament, athletic ability, and trainability.
To achieve this goal, our emphasis is on breeding top quality Labradors with bloodlines of proven champions. CH Dickendall Davaron Gable, CH Raintree’s Slippery When Wet, CH Beechcroft's Study in Black, CH Lubberlines Martingale, CH Kai Den’s Black Tie Affair, CH Mountain Meadow Romeo, BISS Ch Blackwing Superfine … are some of today’s preeminent sires in our Labrador’s pedigrees.
At CranStar we breed for English style puppies that have block heads, otter tails, sturdy build, intelligence, versatility, and calm loving temperaments.
As we are a small hobby kennel, we only have a limited number of litters each year. This gives us the time to focus on each puppy’s socialization, love and care; thereby giving the puppy a ‘head start’ in his/her development and potential.
We look for homes that will continue our level of commitment and care towards the puppy. Our puppies are sold on Limited AKC registration, which means they are going to be the family pet in 'forever homes'. They cannot be used for breeding and must be spayed/neutered. However, they can be entered in AKC events for families, such as Obedience, Agility, Rally and Field.
